What an amazing trip Kirsty and I had travelling around the west coast of the Scottish Highlands. These are some of the photo highlights from the trip.
In spite of the dull and uninspiring weather we’ve had in Caithness I’ve still managed to get out to take a few photos… And finally… A nice weekend :)
Living on the Caithness coast is fantastic! Big skies, water, weather, fog, old maritime buildings… what more could a person who takes photos want! Yes, Caithness is a great place to own a camera!
The slip-way at Ackergill was built around 1910 to accommodate rapid launching of the RNLI Lifeboat. It is constructed from ferro-concrete, and was apparently the first of its kind built in the United Kingdom.
