Whilst I’ll be sorry to see the warmth and light of summer go, I’ll welcome Autumnal colours and being able to take photos around the town at night. I enjoyed taking photos of Wick in the dark a lot at the end of last year and the early part of this year. It’s quite a demanding type of photography, and emphasises the challenge in “365 Challenge“. Composition and keeping your eyes open become everything, and you can’t rely simply on colour to make an appealing photo.
