Japanese Comedy Game Shows

In the UK we have people hosting game shows who pretend to be nasty. For example, Anne Robinson in the Weakest Link. However, in Japan it seems that, for some, a great deal of pleasure and amusement is gained from watching TV shows where the name-of-the-game is to completely humiliate and/or cause pain to the participants.
